Kneeling before the Father, from whom all fatherhood and motherhood come, the future parents come to realize that they have been “redeemed”. It is thus necessary that the will of the parents should be in harmony with the will of God.
The Year of the Family, as a year of special prayer on the part of families, ought to renew and deepen each family’s awareness of these truths.
