I enjoyed that as much as the diary itself. I cannot begin to imagine what it was like set against the backdrop of the war and the knowledge of the holocaust yes cuaeerno knew what was happening and feared it every el cuaderno de rutka. I gave el cuaderno de rutka book five stars because it is an insightful, newly discovered historical document which has been very well presented by its editors.
